The workshop provided access to managers of state and federal financing programs. Participants learned how to use best management practices, such as asset management, to increase their chances at funding. We considered how a cost of service study, capital improvement plan, and asset management plan lead to a robust financial plan. We reviewed ways to design water rates to meet the revenue needs of the financial plan. Staff of various funding programs provided input on how they score loan and grant applications.
