Caribbean Environmental Management

People who manage water supply systems in the Caribbean face specific challenges. For example, small drinking water systems in Puerto Rico are largely volunteer-run and these volunteers are often unaware of the regulations that they need to comply with. Even if they are informed, they lack the resources to comply.

Our founder has worked with people who run these small “non-PRASA” systems to build their financial and managerial capacity, both before and after the devastating hurricanes of 2017.

She also works in the twin-island republic of Trinidad and Tobago as a mentor who encourages young people to take up environmental careers and to, at least, personally reduce their own environmental footprints.
